Monotracer Spezialfahrzeug aus der Schweiz |
| Das Ecomobile ist ein Kabinenmotorrad des Schweizer Kleinserienherstellers Peraves in Winterthur, vor allem bekannt als Erbauer von Spezialmotorrädern. Auch zulassungstechnisch stellen diese 3,70 m langen, 1,47 m hohen und 1,40 m breiten vollverkleideten Fahrzeuge Motorräder dar, da sie gezielt unter der für Motorräder maximal zulässigen Länge von 4 Metern bleiben (gültig im Herstellungsland Schweiz). Fahrer und Beifahrer sitzen durch Dreipunktgurte gesichert hintereinander in einem Fahrzeugkörper, der einer Miniatur-Strassenbahn ähnelt. Dieser besteht aus Aramidfaser-verstärktem Kunststoff mit einlaminierten Stahlrohren. Die ersten der ca. 90 Fahrzeug wurden noch unter dem Namen \"Oemil\" (OEkoMobIL) oder \"Peraves Oemil\" angeboten. Da die Firma Peraves aber eine Verwechslung mit der damals hochkommenden Öko-Bewegung vorbeugen wollte, wurden das \"OEkoMobIL\" in \"Ecomobile\" kurz \"ECO\" (interne bezeichnung W18 K5) umgenannt. Seit 2007 bietet der Hersteller ein neues Modell namens Monotracer an. Im Heck des Fahrzeugs befindet sich ein Gepäckraum. Die Windwiderstandskräfte sind durch den windschnittigen Aufbau und die kleine Stirnfläche niedrig. Der Nachteil des Konzepts, den Fahrer komplett einzuhausen, ist die Notwendigkeit, im Stand und kurz vor Erreichen des Stands Stützräder auszuschwenken. Die Stützräder werden durch einen Schalter am Lenker betätigt elektrisch ein- bzw. ausgefahren. Wenn dies unterbleibt und eine bestimmte Geschwindigkeit unterschritten wird, ertönt ein Warnton. Werden die Stützen, welche zum Ausfahren ca. 0,6 sek. benötigen, dennoch nicht ausgelöst, so kippt die Zigarre im Stand auf die Seite. Ein \"Umfaller\" ist nichts Schlimmes, denn die hochgezogenen Stützräder fangen den Sturz weich ab, sodass das Fahrzeug keinen Schaden nimmt. Bei schnellen Kurven ist es möglich, das eingefahrene Stützrad auf den Boden zu bringen und dann mit drei Rädern die Kurve sicher zu durchfahren. Der Antrieb wird von BMW zugekauft, aus der Vierzylinder-Motorrad-Baureihe BMW K 100 und Folgemodellen. Mit 90 oder bis zu 130 PS ist angesichts der guten Aerodynamik der Karosserie bereits mit der 90 PS-Version ein Tempo von über 240 km/h möglich. Der Benzinverbrauch liegt im Durchschnitt bei 5 Litern und steigt auch bei schnellen Autobahnetappen nicht über 8 Liter an. Das Fünfgang-Motorradgetriebe wurde so verändert, dass dem Fahrer vier Vorwärtsgänge und ein Rückwärtsgang zur Verfügung stehen. Da das ECO als Einspurfahrzeug ein Motorrad ist, muss der Fahrer im Besitz des Klasse 1-Führerscheins sein. Das Fahren eines Ecomobile ist lernbedürftig. Insbesondere muss dem Fahrer klar sein, dass er aufgrund der kleinen Silhouette von anderen Verkehrsteilnehmern oftmals erst spät wahrgenommen wird. |
